Zexal has so many cool locations and backdrops. Where would you want to go in Zexal?

Absolutely Barian World and Astral World. They’re both so colorful and pretty to look at, and just the like, layout of them seems neato. But also, like… how deep does the ocean in Barian World go? How is the castle in Barian World designed? How does Astral World house all their people? Where do they get their clothes?! I’d love to go there and experience it all, figure it all out for myself!

I think when it comes to Zexal, I’m a tad vocal about my favorite character.

In terms of characters I’d like to meet, absolutely Alit. I would adopt my son on the spot.

But also, I would love to meet Astral. I feel like my ADHD ass getting into a conversation with him would be fun. Like, it would be a neverending conversation, I feel.

If I met Yuma and/or Durbe, I’m give them a hug, they both absolutely deserve all the hugs.

Who would you be in Zexal? Champion? Alien? Tomato? Alternatively, what part of Heartland City’s society do you find interesting?

Honestly, I’d probably be a duelist trying to make it big but I’d be too scatterbrained to actually be a threat and would get defeated easily! Though I’d like to think I’d take the time to teach the little kids in my neighborhood the basics about dueling.

As for Heartland City’s society, I like the idea of the trash bots existing all around the city! It makes me think of the city from Pokémon: Destiny Deoxys, where the entire city was like, reliant on robots for so much stuff!

Who are you? Introduce yourself! When did you get into Zexal? What fandom are you in at the moment?

Hey guys! My name is Krys (pronounced like Chris)! I’m 26, hispanic, and nonbinary! (They/them or she/her) I’m also the person behind the Zexal Week blog for the past 2 years! Happy late @zexalmonth !

I started watching Zexal early 2012, when the Japanese episodes of Yuma’s fight with III during the WDC were airing! Zexal was the first YGO I watched subbed! (Long story short, I was very into YGO: Abridged, and as much as it shit on Zexal, I wanted to try the show for myself to see if it was that bad, and I fell in love). It’s my favorite YGO to this day, (but admittedly, depending on who I’m talking to, I default to saying original YGO is my favorite.).

The main fandom I’m currently in at the moment is definitely My Hero Academia. I hyperfixated on Zexal for like 8 years, and then fucking MHA slapped me in the face like “BITCH, LOOK AT ME” and now I would very much die for Eijirou Kirishima. (I feel like i shoulda seen that coming, seeing as Alit was my favorite overall Zexal character)
